2nd Annual Photography Contest - "Hit Us With Your Best Shot!"

We are so excited to announce our 2nd Annual Photography contest! The contest begins this Monday, 5/21/2012. This year our theme is “Hit Us With Your Best Shot”! We want to see your absolute best photographs!

This year we have 4 categories: 

1. Amateur Overall
2. Professional Overall
3. Professional Fan Favorite
4. Amateur Fan Favorite. 

*Amateur means that photography is a hobby for you, and you are not compensated for your work. Professional means that you receive payment for your work.

Images will be evaluated on technical ability, composition, originality and those merits are based on judges' discretion. 

 

How do you enter?  

1. Starting Monday, 5/21 through Friday 5/25 midnight, email your entry to christy @ clickworkshops.com   We ask that you please send a web sized and optimized file (no bigger than 1mb and optimally sized for 960px on the longest edge if possible).  Please also include your name and whether you are entering as an Amateur or Professional.   Professionals may also include a link to a facebook or webpage.
2. Then on  Monday, 5/28 send your friends and family to our Facebook page to vote for you picture!

That's it! Here's the timeline and additional details -

• All entries must be emailed by Friday 5/25 at midnight.  We will be uploading all of your entries into 2 folders on our Facebook page 
• Beginning Monday, 5/28, you may send your friends and family to your picture in those albums.  
• One picture from each album with the most “likes”  will be chosen as a Fan Favorite.   
• Fan Favorite voting ends at midnight on Friday, 6/1.  
• Once the contest is closed, the Click Workshops Team will be choosing the Top 5 photographs from both the Amateur and Professional Categories.  
• Once the Top 5 from each category are chosen, we will make an announcement and the Overall Winners will be selected from those top 5 by our Guest Judge, Chris Meyer, founder and president of Pro Photo Deals and CM Photographics. CM Photographics was named in the Facebook IPO filing and Chris's expertise in photography, marketing and business has made CM Photographics an industry recognized and respected photography giant!  

There are fabulous prizes for all 4 categories! This year we are so excited to work with some amazing companies and people for our prizes. We ask that you visit each of their sites, Facebook and Twitter pages before you enter the contest.  You don't want to miss out on what they have to offer!

Professional Overall Winner will receive:
